We work with you to take care of all the big details and all the little ones too. We work behind the scenes to take care of details such as finding the perfect location on a beach in Elk Rapids, or Frankfort, a quaint bed and breakfast with antique china just like grandma has, Mackinac Island's Grand Hotel, or a vineyard with a view of a beautiful blue lake.
We advise couples on wedding etiquette-which makes guests feel comfortable and well-taken care of always. We create timelines so the delicious menu you picked comes out of the kitchen warm, and your photographer has time to take amazing photographs of you. We set up appointments with the best of the best vendors for you-not just someone from the phone book or the internet. We break up those budget fights before they occur and show you ways to stretch your dollars to have all those great ideas you found on The Knot.com or Wedding Wire. And we help you design the look of the weekend from the wedding invitations and stationery, your gorgeous flowers, lighting that creates the glow of romantic candles and the perfect table linens for that WOW factor when your guests first glimpse your reception area.

You have already started on your wedding plans and feel like you have a lot of it done, but wedding planning has taken over your life. There is no need to be losing sleep worrying about whether or not the cake will show up on time, if the guys will have tuxedos that fit or a bridesmaid will have two left shoes (yes this did happen at a wedding, but we got her a pair of shoes with a left and a right shoe).
This is where we come in. We can begin assisting you at any point in your planning process to help organize and help with the final decisions, the last few vendor selections, a review of contracts so you get everything you need (imagine not having glasses of water on each table for the guests…if it is not in the contract you might not have this).
You can finally like your wedding again instead of wishing it would just be over because you are tired of planning all the details. We are the point of contact for your chosen vendors so they are not all calling your cell phone while you are getting your hair and make up done. We are there to assist you in the final stages of your planning, the coordination of the rehearsal and the making sure your wedding day runs smoothly.

You want to plan your own wedding, but would love to get some of Anne's advice so you don't make any big, costly mistakes when planning your dream weekend. After all, she plans weddings and events each day and this is your first northern Michigan wedding. Ask Anne's Advice and take advantage of her many years experience in the wedding and events industry as an Accredited Wedding Planner ™ and prestigious Certified Special Event Professional™.
Calls are pre-scheduled in 30 or 60 minute sessions with some additional emails and emergency calls for those tricky situations that come up. Month of coordination may be added onto this program later for assistance with the rehearsal and the wedding day (your wedding date must be available on our calendar).
- Three 30-minute calls with 4 emails for additional questions
- Six 30-minute calls plus 8 emails and one thirty minute emergency call (to be schedule within 48 hours or less of when you contact us).
Calls may be combined into an hour long session with this package.
We are currently not offering "Day of wedding coordination" programs as a stand alone program. Day of or "Month of coordination" may be added to the Six Call Program (based on availability).
We have found through years of experience that in order to make your wedding day and weekend everything you have dreamed of, we need to be a part of your planning team for more than just a few weeks prior to your wedding. Spend a Half Day with Anne
Jumpstart your wedding plans with a half day with Anne. You want to do most of the planning yourself, but have no idea where to get started, we can definitely help. The half day with Anne is in person or as a virtual half day on the phone. During your half day we will strategize on wedding locations for your ideal up north wedding weekend. I will give you vendor suggestions for trusted vendors for you to contact. We will also start in on your timeline for the weekend so you can avoid the biggest mistakes brides make with regard to wedding day logistics. We will also develop your "TO DO" list to get you on your way. The half day is two hours with a break for snacks and then another two hours to finish up everything you need to go out there and plan the best wedding ever.
Additional Services
We plan some of the most successful fundraisers, corporate event and private parties. Do contact us for fundraising and friend-raising events for groups of eight to 300,000. Previous clients have included coordinating celebrities for the Indianapolis 500 Festival (such as Morgan Freeman, Gene Simmons, Ludacris, Patrick Dempsey, Rachael Ray and others), an appearance by Food Network Star Paula Deen a half-million dollar fundraising event, and a visit by the President of the United States.
